System Engineer

To drive the growth of our product offerings, we are seeking an enthusiastic System Engineer to help serve and expand our client portfolio.

Your role
As a System Engineer, you play a key role in implementing, supporting, and optimising email security solutions. You work alongside senior engineers to enhance cyber security measures, prevent phishing attacks, and improve overall email security.
What responsibilities
- Deploy, manage, and review email security solutions, including phishing protection and user awareness training.
- Learn and grow—your eagerness to develop technical skills is more valuable than your current knowledge.
- Develop tools using APIs; experience with Microsoft Outlook plug-ins is a plus.
- Automate workflows to enhance efficiency and security operations.
- Contribute to front-end development where necessary.
- Work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills while collaborating with senior engineers.
- Stay ahead of the latest cybersecurity trends through continuous training and certifications.
Your profile
- Passionate about IT security—you are curious, eager to learn, and motivated by technological advancements.
- Willing to learn—you don’t need to know everything but have a strong drive to develop your expertise in security and DevOps.
- Technical skills—basic knowledge of Azure (Azure Functions, API Apps) and email security technologies (MS Exchange, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) is a plus.
- Strong communicator—you explain ideas clearly, collaborate efficiently, and keep teams informed.
- Integrity & accountability—you take responsibility for your work, own mistakes, and turn them into learning opportunities.
- Team player with independent drive—whether working alone or in a team, you get the job done.
- Adaptability—you thrive in dynamic environments and stay calm under pressure.
- Multilingual—you can communicate fluently in Dutch, French, and English (spoken and written).
